I've learned - after many years - that price is NOT the only factor in determining if a fabric is "good" or not -
Sometimes WalMart will get "older" fabrics that used to sell for a higher price at a different store.
I've also learned to check the grain lines, etc. at the LQS too.
If one wants the newest prints while they are still "hot," one will probably pay more for them.
I've seen prints that look and feel identical - Springs Halloween prints, for example, that were selling for $2.00 at WalMart and $5.99 at Hancock's. I was not able to tell any difference between the two - except for the price.
