Putting the tp and bottom on first and the sides last give the quilt the optical illusion of being long. Putting the sides on first and the the top and bottom last give the quilt the optical illusion of being "short".
Like I said in another thread, do it the way YOU want it and throw out the rules. If the quilt police tell you it is wrong just smile at them and remind them that their badges need polishing...LOL!
