except that I like to leave a stub of the "stem" as a handle to hold it while I'm eating. I don't like buttery hands. I'm sure it tastes better than corn that has been boiled with a lot of water which dilutes the taste.. I layer some husks on the bottom of the pot and use 1/2 inch water and steam the ears.
