Thanks everyone. I'm going to try plain fleece since I don't want to take the chance on messing up the fusible since it's QAYG. If it doesn't seem thick enough, I'll try adding some sort of fusible to the backside of the fleece after I'm done with the quilting. I think I will try doing more quilting than what the pattern originally calls for as well.
