I was trying to make quilt blocks called "Strip Twist". Well, I cut the strips wrong by cutting all of them on a right angle. Thought it was a tragedy, until I decided to see what new design I could make from all these strip-pieced triangles, and this table topper is what I came up with. I think it's rather interesting.
I did this mistake on a double bed pattern and now I am redesigning the whole thing. It will have a pillow tuck and a different design over the pillows. When the Lord gives you lemons you make lemonade! That is my motto when sewing!
