what is anime?? My grandaughter sent me a drawing labeled anime -- it is a lovely fairylike lady with swirling drapery skirts and long hair. She is quite talented and hopes to be accepted to a special art high school in Denver when she finishes Jr high. She has submitted her portfolio and then goes out for creative art exams and if she passes those, there is a face to face interview. At the Jr high/high level, that is daunting
