If I don't ask for an opinion, I don't want one even from a friend. I don't understand how a "friend" could put you on the defensive....I frankly don't care what anyone thinks of what I've done or going to do unless I ask for their opinion. Unasked for constuctive criticism, in the name of honesty, is for the birds...just my opinion....lol. It's just hurtful and no one wants to be near that person long.
This is making me sound heartless and I'm sorry for that. It's just that I had a MIL who's middle name was Constructive Criticism. She couldn't understand after Dad died why no one came around anymore. I couldn't burst her righteous balloon and tell her.
