To me, neutral is something that goes w/ everything - that means whites and ivories. The Alex Anderson quilt looks brown to me - not neutral.
Try to find out what they mean by neutral - Browns and tans to me is not "neutral", but I don't like tans and browns.
Colors are such a personal choice, i hope you can get a better definition. The idea of going to look at their registry is a great idea.
