Gadszook, here I am adding another comment.
I know I would ask the recipient what colors are hers or theirs. There are just too many idea of what neutral colors are.
Also, some prints would drive me absolutely crazy even if they were in the color I chose. I like 30's fabrics but absolutely love so many batiks. Bigggg difference. A leopard print would absolutely not be me.
