Keep in mind that the larger blocks, you'll lose some of your 4PP as you'll be chopping off the corners with the trellis twist piece. With the two different sizes, you could do a smaller 4PP for the small blocks ... or use the original fabric.
Cut a window in some paper the size of one piece. Using that window you can see what size print would be good for your 4PP. A small rosebud or a large hydrangea. Any print will work in a kaleidoscope provided you've chosen a size that compliment yours.
