Omnigrid makes a 1 1/2" yardstick, but it is much easier to use a 6x24" ruler. It won't slip as much. I use my yardstick to mark 1 1/2" grids for quilting.
I checked both of the BIG distributors and even Omnigrid does not have one this size available now!
THere is a yard stick that is 1.25" wide, but seems very flimsy being that long and thin!
Wow, that's a bummer! I am sure glad I got mine (years ago) when I did. I do a lot of baby quilts and I just love the chevron quilt motif. I make a big x using my Omnigrid yardstick and then I mark chevrons on all 4 sides of the x. It looks great and is just straight line quilting, so it goes faster.
The ruler is cool because it counts down from the middle on both sides so you can center with it. My advice it to check out your LQS to see if they still have them in stock.
