Home is where you make it. I was born and raised in Central Florida. My husband drove down here from Indiana when he graduated college. I'd never be able to get him to move from the state. He's a Florida boy now!
It's beautiful here. Why do you think it's called the Vacation Capital of the World? The weather is nice. It never snows. We're surrounded by beautiful beaches and lakes. Theme parks, museums, gardens and natural habitat are everywhere you look. Outdoor play is encouraged. We don't pay a state income tax. Fresh produce is grown year long and it's abundant and cheap. The schools are good. Folks relax and become friendly when they come to Florida. We love our tourists, transplants and snow birds. It's a Southern Hospitality thing.
C'mon down, you're always welcome.
