I have made a LOT of the denim quilts. No backing, Just 10" lengths sewn together in strips & strips sewn in rows.
I have charged $100.00 for king size, down to $25.00 for twin size. And that is if they furnish the levis!!!!! I figure that I am paying for the repairs on MY machine, using MY thread, as well as denim needles ( & they ain't cheap). If some one orders a quilt/tarp, I charge accordingly, as people give me old levis all the time.
I have donated them to our volunteer Fire District for auction, and have yet to have one go for less than $125.00. Once the people here use them, they want MORE MORE & STILL MORE!!!!!!
