Have they checked your moms medicene(s?)? They over medicated my stepmom and she would hullicate,too. Once they adjusted her meds. she stop seeing things. just a thought.
Thanks for the suggestion about the medications. I pay really close attention to her meds. I'm an RN with a Psych and Critical Care background. My current job involves inspecting Hospitals and Nursing Homes for compliance with the State and Federal requirements. I get current information almost daily at work on medication side effects and possible problems with medications for geriatric patients. I also touch base with her doctor all the time. I love her physician. He will call me at home in the evenings and sometimes on the weekends just to see how mom is doing or update me on some of her tests and lab work. Almost as good as a house call!!
