Wow you are very generous. When it comes to quilts I gift, the quilt IS the present. I would never dream of using it as wrapping because to me it is way more valuable then that. I love the craft but I do invest a LOT of time, effort and expense making a quilt. With the cost of fabric being what it is, I would want the recipient to value it as much as I do and using it as wrapping tends to give the impression the quilt is just a disposable after thought.
