Thanks for the mention!

Fabric Freedom fabrics are popular in England and other parts of Europe, and in Australia, but are not widely known in the USA.

We were one of the earliest dealers for Fabric Freedom in the USA, as we started our business at about the same time that the fabrics were introduced into this country. They're all designed in England and are very high quality, with a great hand and finish. The owner has refused to lower quality in the face of increasing cotton prices and shortages of high-quality greige goods.

Fabric Freedom is one of the few manufacturers that still originates many of their designs, especially their florals, by doing hand-painted oils rather than computer-aided design. They are known for their amazingly detailed florals, and their outstanding metallic fabrics.

It's a small company with its design studios in London. The owner is involved in the entire production process, maintaining the highest quality standards, using only a few trusted engravers and printing/finishing mills. They also maintain the highest standards of business ethics, and their batiks and hand-dyes are all Fair Trade items.

We are the only online shop that we know of that is a full-line dealer for Fabric Freedom. We normally carry all of the lines that they introduce and carry all of the fabrics in each line, excepting only a few lines that we feel won't sell well over the web. We have a very good working relationship with the owner of the company, and meet with him twice a year.

The Blue Danube line is still available in limited quantities, but the Park Lane line that was also mentioned is sold out in the USA as far as we know.
