#1. - We c-clamped the the iron header to the wall and removed the bed frame.

#2. I secure the mattress/box spring to the wall with a wide sash...and put 2 flannel backed table cloths over them (secured on with safety pins).

#3. That makes a nice design wall. When company shows up... I remove the flannel covering... roll up the projects on it, drop the bed back down onto cinder blocks. My table is collapsible.. and it works out just fine. I have had more then one over night guest admit to reading my quilting books half the night...

Various photos of the room... and last but not least... the room can be transformed back into a small but cozy guest room in under an hour. It's been perfect for our limited space.

That's a pretty amazing transformation! A very cozy guest room and a very efficient sewing room. Good for you!!
