Lacelady and Buddysmimi - I want to personally thank you for all the love you put into the quits for the Linus Project. I work as a nurse home visitor for high risk/low income first time moms and their babes. When we make our first home visit after they deliver, we take them a hand crafted quilt. Many of them are provided by Project Linus. These mums struggle to make ends meet and try very hard to be good mums. Part of helping their little ones motor development is "tummy time" and these wonderful quilts provide a nice soft clean place for the baby to practice holding their head up and finally to sit and crawl.
