It's a matter of preferrence...for me, I'd add a dark brown to the cream side, then sash in a contrasting color, or even the cream...all around the top...then add a border...maybe a piano key border of the colors in the quilt. But, that's my thoughts, others have expressed theirs...each quilter will have a different answer. Try auditioning the sashing..take pics of each...print and lay them out...figure out what makes you happy.
