so i did a quilt for my boyfriends parent who celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in 2010 and just recently celebrated their 61th.
my boyfriend is one of five, four boys and one girl. i used a pattern that consisted of five stars. i embroidered the initials for their children, one to each star and of course in the center was my boyfriends initial "A".
once again, i had forgotten how nice my work is :-)
