I feel that way too but the other day I took a friend of mine to the doctor and one staff member we had to see for a consultation had her office walls filled with quilts she had made. I was so intimidated and was having a good look. They were beautiful. The lady became uncomfortable and said she had made many mistakes and she just knew they weren't that good, she began to point out some of her free motion work where she had crossed a thread or whatever. I would have never have seen them had she not pointed them out, really made me think how harsh we are on our own work... YOUR QUILT IS A WORK OF ART!
