I finally got the courage to FMQ on a real quilt--lap size. Once I got the speed of the machine and my hands to work together, it wasn't so bad. The one goofy thing I did was use the paper with the large meander pattern--because I have no talent for drawing anything & my designs looked awful.
That paper was nice to follow----but now I have all the paper to tear off!!!

I don't know how some of you can do your first FMQ quilt and have it look so good!! For me, I have to have a pattern to follow.

I think I could get addicted to FMQ if I did it more often. I had a real feeling of accomplishment.
