I remember the cotton fields all around us growing up in Phoenix, Az..... Now, where many of those fields were, there are oceans of houses!!!! sad but true!! and that has a lot to do with the price of cotton!!! I use to love the smell of the cotton gins when they were running I do not recall the round bales, but do remember the huge packed carriers that lifted up and the huge block of cotton remained
A whole different way of farming and many different implements compared to the soybean and corn farming....
