I hope someone can help before I take my machine to a shop for them to have a look at.
I was piecing some block (chain piecing), all was fine then all of a sudden it tried to eat my fabric and the bobin thread got jammed.
I have taken of the bottom plate and cleaned out the bobbin area, the bobbin and bobbin case all looked fine.
Put it all back together (extra careful putting in the bobbin case) tried a different bobbin, new needle, rethreaded, all the usual things, still doing it and causing a birds nest underneath and a terrible clunking noise.
Looking further, as the thread comes around the bobbin case the bobbin case seems to want to lift up a bit so the thread doesn't go around it smoothly.
I have put the bobbin case in at least a dozen times being extra careful that the little arrows line up and that its seated in properly but it's still doing it
Anyone else have a similar problem??? What was the outcome??
Thanks for your help, I just want to sew
