i tried to make one for my elna serger -- since the elna is narrow at the top and wide at the base -- the bags just didn't work for mine -- still using a pretty shawl size scarf -- a light weight scarf seems to work the best as it does not tangle my threads -- looks great, keeps the dust off and i can leave my thread poles up
