if the blocks are for a quilt you are totally making - continue as you are. If they are for a swap adjust your seams to a true 1/4" and I bet they turn out to size.

if the block is laying flat and they are going together okay - go for it - if it's lumpy or puckery, you might want to figure out what the problem is
