I like #3 as well but how about a complete frame around the large sguare as an extra frame either white or light green. You don;t want to have an extra black in the triangle corners. Unless that does not go with Vikings theme. In #1 you have white in the corners and in 2, 3, and 4 pieces you have green. And after going back and looking again I guess a white frame aount the large green sgquare.
