I learned several things. #1. Never use this product again. #2. Would have been easier if I had just done it with squares. #3 I will do this again.

I am currently working out a challenge I set for myself, to turn a cross stitch pattern into a quilt. I have it stitched, but I will never again use that iron on stuff with the squares marked off. It left a black nasty residue all over my new sewing machine! Poor "Pearl" has black smut all over her face! I have no idea how to remove it! (I was able to remove the black ick with "LA's Awesome Orange" cleaner.)

This is the black ick, that the grided pellon left on my new macine!

This is the cross stitch pattern I used.

This is the result after a little bit of altering the design. It worked.
