I wash my quilts in cold water, but I wash most things in cold water. The more hot water I use the higher the electric bill.
Ditto regarding temperature. I wash most everything in cold or warm/cold. I want the quilts I give away to be used and loved, so they need to be washer-friendly, and I make them with this in mind.
