I donated a small wall hanging to a local guild's auction and went to their show today to see how it did. I met another board member there, Sewdarnbusy (Donna), and we spent the afternoon admiring the quilt displays, shopping, and running into people we knew!

Donna missed bidding on a quilt she fell in love with, but connected with the gal who did get it and as luck would have it, the gal sold it to her so she was a VERY happy camper.

My small quilt went for $35, which is exactly what I was hoping it would get at the very least, and Donna said the gal who had the final bid was sitting with her fingers crossed hoping no one else would bid on it so she really wanted it and was obviously hoping it would stay in her price range - that's as good as it gets! It went to a good home.
