Mitered corners in the sashing may be a different problem. I've done one, but it was a print - now I have a piano key border that will have to mitered. Yikes!
To miter a piano key border, just take four pieces that are 1 inch longer than your border will be wide (6" wide border would mean four 7" long pieces) and make half-square triangles. Make sure strips go in same direction.
