as to them being wonky & not laying flat--
if they've been rolled up/folded for 20-30 years, it may be a good idea to lay or hang them out for a period of time so that they may straighten out--[sort of like if you hang clothing long enough the wrinkles come out...] JMHO[/quote]

Thanks for the suggestion...they were stored folded in a cedar chest but they are not at all musty. As I get to them, I'll try hanging them out to see if that helps before I press them.
