I wanted to do a little something fun with our standard 7 across, 11 down, 8" X 9" block quilts. So I sat down and color-penciled a pattern. (my usual MO)
Sewing the isosceles triangle was easy. Figuring out how to make it was the hard part. Made a pattern and had to invite Jack (the ripper) to help me out. Needed a quarter inch more on each side. heehee
I redid the pattern last night for my next one. I want the heart larger.

Heart-Charity Quilt...the isosceles triangle was harder than I thought it would be.

My heart pattern. The next one will be larger.
