Hi everyone, thank you for the input...I'll keep the green. The pattern is from Quilters Cache and it's called Evening Star. It's a free download from the site. Just remember to change the colors...all center triangles are browns...etc. It's a paper pieced pattern. The finished block size is smaller than I would have preferred but I have already printed out all of the pattern pieces so I'll finish it, it will be a lap sized. But, if I ever make this pattern again I'll enlarge the the pattern for a 12" finished block size.
