Our store recently closed the fabric dept. There was a lot of vocal complaining but was told by employees that it wouldn't matter how much complaining was done, headquarters makes the decision. There is one quilt shop here and it does have a weekly online special that has some reasonable priced fabric.

Well, it goes to show you that just hoping doesn't do the deed. Gives me a lesson on stepping out and doing something to stop "stuff" from happening as with what happened when the other store stayed open, presumably because of the "protests" against closing the fabric section.
