ADDITIONAL FEET: When I "upgraded" my machine from Elna to Brother/Laura Ashley I found that the included feet attachments were 90% different - what was included with one machine wasn't included with the other - but that the attachments were interchangeable to the other machine! I found that the $100 that I would have gotten for the machine trade-in wasn't close to the value of replacing the foot/attachments that I really liked.
END RESULT: I still have my old machine and can take it with me for classes or traveling (smaller and lighter than my new machine) -- but I have access to double the selection of attachments - including my old favorites.
