I don't rearrange my sewing area, with my setup, there really isn't a way to move things around.

My sewing room used to be the living room so is in the main area of the house. I have a dining room table as my sewing table and this room is adjacent to our dining room so it doubles as an extra dining area when we have company.

I do tend to pile things that I'm done with, then do a big "put away"

I have a pretty good stash but hardly any yardage anymore. It's mostly small pieces, much of which was given to me when others cleared out their stashes. It has served me well, we've been on a tight budget for a long time, but I try to keep a bolt of muslin around or I buy background fabric here and there and can work mostly from my stash making quilts with smaller amounts of multiple fabrics rather than quilts that have only a few and need more yardage.

I live in my sewing area, it's central in the house, and ends up often being the hangout spot....not always a good thing when I'm heavily involved in a project and everyone is camped out around my sewing table!
