My background squares are 3", and the pinwheels are 2 1/2" squares folded diagonally,then one point folded back! You need 4 to make the block!! Use a walking foot as the centre seam is fairly thick!! Once you try it you will be hooked!!! :roll: :lol: :thumbup:
