Your topic can be added to the VSMS listing - this is a virtual list, and all the threads in it are really in other categories. It is just tagged to be in this virtual category. I think you can do the adding to VSMS on your own - look near the top left of the thread when you post. It should have a notation about adding to another - virtual - list.
