it sounds like the finished size of the barn door is 3" x 3". that's 3.5" x 3.5" unfinished.
printe your photos 3.5" x 3.5". make sure you leave at least 3/4" all the way around the horse so you don't sew threw the poor thing's head. horses tend to get cranky when you do that. :lol:
