There is a yahoo group (pinsandneedles1) where the owner sells Go!, Baby Go! and Sizzix machines and dies at 35% off discount prices. I've bought several and found her to be a very honest and reliable merchant. The reason I chose the Big Shot is that it will allow the use of dies made by several different companies and cuts many more layers than the Go! It really boils down to choice. Ebony Love is also a veritable gold mine of information and her tutorials are fantastic.
Just keep in mind, the dies are designed to cut a certain amount of layers, no matter what machine you are running them through. Cutting more layers than called for or heavier fabric and not reducing layers will shorten the die life and you will end up having to buy new dies to replace the dulled damaged ones.
