How much do you buy per print? I've purchased from fatquarter to a yard. I've been very scattered. And that was just colored prints. I found out I should collect shirting? for contrast? 225 prints-225 contrasts? WOW!!! I like the earlier post where she purchased as she went and it kept her excited.
I've also been pondering making mine in shades of purple/violets. I'm just not sure I can find enough.
Anyway.... I'd be up for a DJane swap for those of us who are just starting???

LOL. I thought for some insane reason that I needed to make 2 also so I thought that maybe I could do them at the same time, just make the same block twice. Why not?!?
I have decided on colors for the first: civil war pinks and browns with neutrals for the background and sashing. I bought a fat quarter collection years ago (I think it's called Charleston IV or V. I'll have to look).
I also have a bazillion other civil war prints for this project (was clearly in collecting phase) for trades if anyone is interested.
Can't wait!
