Don't have time to read the 5 pages. As an owner of too many 'older' machines than I can count, I only use SEWING MACHINE LUBRICANT on the gears - nothing else. I would not use something else and jeapordize my machines over the long run. Wait a bit and find the correct lubricant.

SEWING MACHINE OIL is something totally different too and does not go on the gears. It should go in places where metal turns on metal.
