Mine were all lost in a house fire, too. I'm thinking it was no great loss in my case!
Losing things like that is always a great loss. A lot of the things I had as a child where thrown away . I wish I had some of the things now. I was very excited to find out I still had baby books of mine. It saved a gift from my godmother when my sister said it was hers.
