I have used some to embellish quilts. I used them on the bookcase quilt I made for the dials on the phone, eyes on the rocking horse and dinosaur, etc. I plan to use them on my Feeling Crabby quilt pattern that I am making for the eyes on the crabs. I am just careful not to use them on a baby's quilt.
Also, some people make fidget??? quilts to donate or give to people with alzheimers. Some people also use them to "cover" points that don't match perfectly like in a pinwheels quilt.
