when the links come from someone who doesn't have a vested interest in the business it isn't advertising.
the owner of TT used the online store name as her user name, then she used the store logo as her avartar, and then she put up 2 posts out of like 9 steering people to her online company.
this is taking advantage of admin, there is a mechanism to advertise here and that should be pointed out to her so she can either stop or pay the ad fees.
it shouldn't be okay for her to take advantage of admin and the forum rules.
she may not have known it was wrong so i pointed it out to her so she can make an informed decision in the future.
it costs admin and the people that assist him real time and money to run this forum and it is wrong for the users to abuse its function.
