We lived in Lancaster from 1950 to 1959, then California City from 1980 to 1985 when we moved to Palmdale whee we stayed from 1985 to 1992, so I am very familiar with Adelanto, CA. Do you have a good quilt guild there? or in Victorville? While we were in Palmdale I was in the Antelope Valley Quilt Guild out of Lancaster. Small world!!!
