I have done some sewing in past for crafts-then began the fabric looking and stocking. Now I have sizable cache and need to make it earn its keep. This project is a beginning. My old sewing machine and I just did not get along. Finally sold it and got a Janome 1100 and love what little I have done and more so every time I use it. It has made sewing a whole new experience and am looking forward to the future whereas I used to dread sewing.l

RIPPER. but the end is all worth it, to have that quilt with all the love you sewed in to it and to able to see the look on somebodys face as you gave it to a love one. Or just to go to bed and pull that quilt up to your nose and feel the love and warnth they is nothing like it. welcome to the would of quilting.
