actually, you sew them together in strips. You make two half blocks... it's really hard to explain, let me see if I can get a pic up to explain a little better.

Ok, so you see the white gaps in between, that's because I haven't sewn them together yet, they're just pinned. Basically, you just sew them together in rows, you don't actually sew a whole hexagon to the next hexagon, they're put together in halves. I'm not sure I'm making myself clear, lol!
