You can just stitch the outline (onto the stablizer) and then stitch and other lines you want, do alittle fmq for effect. Then just stick it into water. The stablizer disolves and you have your shape left. Just be sure you completely connect all the outside lines so there is an actual shape after the stablizer is disolved.

Thanks Kat... This is what I have in mind to do. I want to do leaf shapes. I was hoping someone remembered the name of the guest on the show simply so I could have more detail. I know it sounds simple but they did do a whole show on it. lol I guess trial and error is in order
